BIOFACH 2026: The Global Hub of Organic Agriculture and the Future of the Organic Market

22/01/2026

From 10–13 February 2026, BIOFACH 2026 will take place in Nuremberg as the world’s largest and most important trade fair dedicated exclusively to organic agriculture, organic food and certified natural cosmetics. For professionals in bio production, trade and sustainable farming, it is a key event that sets the direction for the entire sector every year.

BIOFACH – where the entire organic sector comes together

BIOFACH has been regarded for more than 30 years as the leading international platform for professionals in the organic products sector. It is not just a trade fair, but a global meeting point for the entire organic value chain – from organic farmers, producers and processors to exporters, traders and retailers, as well as certification bodies, institutions and professional organizations.

In 2026, more than 2,300 exhibitors from all over the world will present themselves in Nuremberg, offering a wide range of certified organic products:

  • cereals, pulses and oilseeds

  • fresh and long-life food products

  • dairy products and cheeses

  • organic confectionery, snacks and beverages

  • raw materials and ingredients for further processing

  • certified natural and organic cosmetics

  • a high share of decision-makers – buyers, managers and company owners

Traditionally, the largest number of exhibitors comes from Germany, Italy, Spain and France. The Czech Republic is among the countries with a stable presence and ranks in the TOP 10 by number of exhibitors.

BIOFACH Congress – knowledge, trends and legislation

An integral part of the trade fair is the international BIOFACH Congress, which runs throughout the entire event and is free of charge for all registered trade fair visitors.

The programme focuses, among other things, on:

  • current trends in organic agriculture
