Purchasing Manager
AGRIWELL s.r.o. is an international company specialising in organic agriculture and agricultural commodity trading. We are among the largest importers of organic oilseeds into the European Union and have been operating in the Czech market since 2009.
We are developing a vertically integrated business model that brings together direct cooperation with growers, harvest planning and quality control. This approach allows us to provide our customers with reliable supplies of certified organic products.
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. If you enjoy building relationships with business partners and want to contribute to the growth of an international company, we would love to hear from you. Your responsibilities
Source agricultural commodities and identify new suppliers across Europe and Central Asia
Communicate with suppliers and develop long-term business relationships
Manage purchase contracts and related documentation
Monitor contract deadlines and ensure timely fulfilment of contractual obligations
Travel regularly for business meetings with suppliers and partners
What we're looking for
Fluency in Russian and/or Ukrainian for daily communication with suppliers
At least intermediate proficiency in English and Czech
Previous experience in purchasing or procurement
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and a responsible approach to work
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a willingness to learn
Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
Experience in agriculture or agricultural commodity trading is an advantage
